Loud and Fast Way that Symbolizes Friendship
Once upon a time, crafts were made during Christmas holidays to present on Christmas Day to friends and guests. But nowadays, it is not possible due to hectic daily routine of people. People normally visit the nearby crafts stores, pick up a few gifts and finish their work easily. Thus the old tradition of making and presenting friendship bracelets have came to an end. Making bracelets and presenting them during the festive season not only makes up a good gift on the festival day, but also improves the talent and creativity of an individual. My daughter wanted to celebrate her birthday party in a different way. She decided to teach one craft item to her best girl friends. When she approached me for help, I decided to teach them to make easy friendship bracelets.
In order to make her birthday a memorable and warm function, I had collected many items such as bright colored threads of various colors, beads of different sizes and colors and other required items that can be used to make bracelets.
On the day of my daughter’s birthday I showed my friendship bracelets, which was given to me by my friend, though worn out, it gave us sweet remembrance. That was the gift given by my friend when I was 10, exactly 25 years before. Our friendship grew after she tied the friendship bracelet. We started sharing the secrets and heartaches with each other. I was attracted by the friendship bracelet that I asked her to teach the same design to me. Gradually I started learning various designs and patterns and distributed them to many of my close friends. Initially they looked hard when it came to learning. I tried making them using various materials such as thread, embroidery floss and hemp and named them as strong>easy friendship bracelets.
With the help of the skills that I had imbibed then, I am going to teach you here how to make beautiful and simple easy friendship bracelets. Making bracelets are simple and you will get fun and excitement. Things required are:
Scissors
Embroidery floss
Clip boards
Beads
Yardsticks
Method of Making
Select two contrast colors of embroidery floss to make the bracelets. Cut 27 inches of three threads of both the colors, so that you will have six strands altogether. Make a knot at the end by tying all the six strands together. Secure the edges of the knot, by clipping it in the clipboard. Keep one color on the right and other three strands of other color in the left side. Take the three strands on the left. Wrap it over and under the other three strands of the right. There is the formation of a loop. Pull it tightly by forming the single knot. Now take the three strands on the right. Do the same with these strands now. Continue till you get desired length. Hold the ends together and make a knot. Trim the edges at about one inch length.
Your easy friendship bracelets are ready to be worn.
