Hemp Bracelet Design 1
Things that are often used in making hemp bracelets of design type 1 constitute the following
- Hemp string
- Button
- Nail
- Board
Step 1
Hammer a nail on a piece of board, which you can carry while doing your work. Alternatively, you can fix it on a table.
Step 2
Take a hemp twine that is 5 times the length of the required piece of jewelry. Take two twines of same length and loop it over the nail to receive four equal lengths of twines. Tie all the twines into a knot prior to starting your work.
Step 3
The two knots in the center are known as the base knots. These strands always remain in the center. Now take the strand that is on the outside of the left. Fold it over the center base knots and bring it below the string that is at the right. Pick up the strand in the right and fold it below the center strands and take it above the strand that lies to your left. Continue making knots till you reach the desired length.
Step 4
Tie a button at the tip of the strings and ensure whether it fits into the loop created by you initially. In this way you can make a clasp for your hemp bracelet.
Hemp Bracelet Design 2
In the above half knot design, the center base knots can be utilized to thread different colors of beads. Only one big bead or alternative big and small beads or equal sized beads can be used. Beads are available in various quality, shapes and sizes. Bead bracelets undoubtedly increase the beauty of the jewelry.
Hemp Bracelet Design 3
Put a half knot, as explained in step 3 above. Then reverse the steps. Take right strand and fold it over the center strands and bring it below the strand that is at the right. Next, take the strand that is on the right side and keep it above the center strands and take it above the left strand. You will get a square knot. Continue the process by making half knot and square knot alternatively.

Addition of beads or charms in the base strands will add to the beauty of bracelets. Some people wear attractive bead bracelets, while some like simple bracelets without beads. Use the center base strands to thread the beautiful beads and add a punch of attraction to your bracelets.
