Nice Hemp Necklace Patterns

I am having a craft stores on my own. As the festival is approaching I am busy in putting a lot of new stuff in my shop.  New patterns and new designs are normally introduced during the time of a festival to get good appreciation from my customers.  People are in a mood to purchase something new at the time of festival celebration.  This time, due to lack of time, I made a few simple, yet beautiful hemp necklace patterns and got a good response from the customers.  I sold several pieces of simple necklaces. Hence I thought of sharing the details of those patterns with you all. 

Hemp Necklace Designs 1

This pattern is for a fifteen inches necklace.  To make this jewelry, you require a hemp twine, one big bead with a large hole, clasp and scissors. 

Step 1

Take six strands of hemp twine with the length of 60 inches.  You need four times the length of the necklace. I can be even longer, but it is always better to take a little longer twine than a shorter one.

Step 2

Take the big bead and thread it in all strands and center the bead.  If the hole is small at least thread four strands.  Ensure that the bead stays in the center of the strands.  Take the two corner strands and put one square knot.  Then divide the six strands into three sets.  Use the three strands braid technique. Use the hemp to braid for about seven inches long.  While braiding the twines, it is necessary to keep the two cords flat. Otherwise it looks bulgy and spoils the beauty of the jewelry.

Step 3

Finish the knot by putting three cords together and put one over hand knot both the sides and leave two inches. Cut the remaining strands.  Join the edges.

Step 4

Turn the necklace around and do the same on the other side of the bead.  Follow the step 2 & 3.  Finish your nice necklace, which is simple to work on but beautiful to look.

Instead of inserting one big wooden bead, add medium sized beads to your necklace.  Same size of several beads also can be added with the same braid pattern.  Adding one big bead and one small bead alternatively also adds to the beauty of the necklace.

Keep the big bead in the center and put a square knot or half knot at the sides.  Select the design that looks elegant and easy and enjoy making the jewelry.
